Privacy Policy

Office Days is a personal office-attendance tracker. The short version: everything stays on your device. We have no servers and collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else. Office Days has no backend server, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that transmit your data. We, the developer, never receive any of your information.

All data the app creates — your office days, sick/leave days, office locations, target percentage, and settings — is stored only in a local database on your device.

Location

If you turn on Automatic check-in, the app uses your device's location in two ways, both entirely on-device:

• Saving an office location: when you tap “Add office here”, the app reads your current coordinates once to remember where that office is.
• Geofencing (background location): your phone's operating system notifies the app when you arrive at one of your saved offices, so the day can be recorded automatically. This requires background (“Allow all the time”) location permission.

Your location is used only to detect arrival at the offices you added. It is never stored as a location history, never leaves your device, and is never shared or sold. Automatic check-in is optional and off by default — the app is fully usable without granting any location permission.

Permissions

• Location (while in use / always) — only for the optional automatic check-in described above.
• Run at startup / boot completed (Android) — to re-register your office geofences after the phone restarts.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party, because the data never leaves your device in the first place.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data from your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
